This lamp is built predominantly with black walnut and white ash. The design is to function as a sculpture when not in use, but also work as a mood lamp when desired.

The legs are steam bent with a kink and have a 10 degree twist on one end. The twist allows the legs to pass though each other without needing to be lapped.

The shade is made out ash that I carefully sliced to .016” of an inch so light could pass though.

The LED’s are RGBW and is controlled with your smartphone via WiFi. Each strip is oriented so that it can project into the open spaces between the bent legs providing even light. Power cord is concealed in leg for a clean aesthetic.
